Reunion Tour–Always a Member of the Pack!
This summer, we hosted a class reunion tour! These folks were back to see what BGHS looks like now that it is the Complex (BGE/BGMS). It was fun to walk around with them to hear their stories, memories, and how the building has changed since they walked the halls of the high school.
As your kids go through school at PTSC, they create relationships and memories that will last a lifetime. Together as the Wolf Pack, we are working to create a culture and climate that opens the door for opportunities to be involved in clubs, activities, sports, and academic teams. Each of these experiences allows a child more opportunities to build relationships with other students and adults, building skills that will translate beyond the schoolhouse walls.
Think back to some of your favorite school memories. Did you have a favorite teacher, coach, or administrator? If you haven’t already done so, take a moment to send them a note of thanks for the role they played in your life. Talk about these stories with your kids. Sharing your stories and modeling gratitude helps show our kids how to appreciate those who have positively impacted our lives. Perhaps there are other ways to give back. Mentoring a coworker, building positivity in the community, coaching a community sports league, volunteering in ways that energize you–this also models for your kids how to give back to the community. Let’s continue to build a strong Wolf Pack!

Things to Know/Do:
Roadwork on Hwy 2 is nearing completion! We are hopeful that we might see Hwy 2 open all the way to Valparaiso in the next few days! (They hesitate to give an exact date as complications always arise…)
Now hiring substitute teachers! Please contact Linda Dusek at the administration building if you are interested in substitute teaching, and she will help you start the application process and discuss your qualifications.
Tell your friends and neighbors about this new way to know what is happening at PTSC! Even if your neighbors don’t have kids in school, tell them about our weekly updates so they can hear the great news of what happens at PTSC!
Every Wednesday is a 30-minute delayed start. If we have a 2-hour delay, students will arrive at school 2 hours after the regular start time for the building.
